how to put together an easy fall charcuterie board
Whatever kind of hosting you are doing, grab a board or tray with sides. This will help the food stay in one place. Especially if you are going to transport the food, so the food does not slide off.
The first thing I did was decide what I wanted to place on the board. For this board I wanted to add pies, cookies, pumpkin roll, and whipped cream. Also maybe add a little color with grapes or apples. I went to work making all the mini pumpkin pies and pumpkin roll. The maple leaf cookies came from Aldie. You can also buy these desserts if you are crunched for time or don’t like to cook. Grocery stores always have beautiful little pies and fall goodies around this time of year.
assemble the board
First, I placed a small orange leaf plate in the middle of the board for whipped cream. Keep whipped cream in the fridge until ready to serve. Next I added two fake pumpkins to the corners of the board for a little extra color.
I then started adding in the pies to the corners and pumpkin roll around the edges of the board. I placed the maple leaf cookies around the whipped cream plate in the middle. There is no certain layout to follow when assembling a charcuterie board. After that I filled in the blanks with some red grapes to add a little color to my charcuterie board.
