Here are 6 ways to improve your kitchen on a budget
1. Add a backsplash
Adding a backsplash does wonders for your kitchen, adding vibrant pops of color, light, and texture – In addition to protecting the walls from kitchen messes. If your kitchen needs improvement, consider adding a backsplash.
2. Update Light Fixtures
This one little, easy update can change the look and feel of your whole space. You can find inexpensive light fixtures online or at any home improvement store, such as Home Depot or Lowe’s.
3. Upgrade your faucet
Replacing an old, leaky faucet with a new one is a simple, inexpensive way to add style to your kitchen. We ordered the Fosa Black Bronze Swivel Pull-Out Spout Kitchen Sink Faucet through Walmart.com. We have been loving this update to our kitchen.
4. Paint your Cabinets
If you have perfectly good cabinets and have a tight budget but hate the color and the way they look, consider painting them instead of purchasing a whole new set. You could go classic white, a soft light grey, or a bold dark blue. The colors are endless.

5. Change out your Hardware
Upgrading your cabinet hardware makes a big impact with little money. You could choose matte black or go for a bold statement such as brass door handles.
We chose the 5″ Cabinet Handle Pulls in the matte black finish from Amazon. We loved the way it made a statement on the gray cabinets.
6. Add Decorative Touches
Kitchens are for more than just cooking. They’re a favorite room for talking, laughing, and making memories with friends and family. Create a warm an inviting space for the ones you love. There are many options when it comes to decorating a kitchen.
I went for a clean more minimal style in our kitchen. This space in our home is used several times a day. I needed something that was functional and practical for my family but still adding color and warmth to the space.
