The front door is always a great place to add a wreath or door hanger to match the season. This deer head silhouette has been around for several years and I love adding ribbon and bows around it. Ribbon is a great and cheap way to change out décor for each season.
A welcoming rug at the front door is another great budget friendly way to add décor to your front porch. I love finding outdoor rugs at Dollar General. Usually you can find rugs in the seasonal isle for $8 or less. I layered this 4th of July Welcome rug over a black and white checked rug from Amazon.
This ladder is a front porch staple piece of mine. I love changing out the decorations on it for every holiday! My lanterns are topped with a patriotic bow and scrabble pieces spell out Liberty. An old stand up ladder wrapped with an American flag that I found at a thrift store leans against the ladder.

The Welcome To The Porch sign is a 8×10 sign that I made and put in a $4 frame that I bought from Target. This is another great way to add summer charm to your front porch! You can download your free printable Porch Sign down below.

Throw pillows are one of my favorite way to add a pop of color to a space. The pillows don’t even have to be patriotic themed. You can use red, blue, or white solid pillows and still get the 4th of July vibe! One of these days I would love to have rockers on our front porch but for now lawn chairs are working great and the pillows add a nice touch.
A vase of white flowers and glittery stars sit on the little wood chest that is used for an outdoor coffee table.
You can’t have a patriotic porch without a flag. Good quality American flags can be found at home improvement stores, discount stores, and even the grocery store. I got our large flag a few years ago at Lowe’s. There was a large selection and different price ranges. We attached it to one of the porch posts with the brackets that came with the flag.
I made this little garden flag out of leftover burlap that I had used for a table runner. This flag is 12 inches wide and 18 inches long. I hemmed all the edges and on top I folded over the fabric to make the pocket that the flag rod inserts into in order to hang the flag. Then I stenciled BLESSED onto the burlap and made a pretty bow out of short leftover pieces of ribbon that I had stored. I placed it right next to the steps going up to the front porch.
This patriotic porch décor is a look that can last throughout the entire summer. It’s never out of fashion to display your American pride! I hope these inexpensive 4th of July front porch ideas give you budget friendly suggestions to decorate your front porch for a patriotic summer!
